Recognizing the unbreakable bond between humans and their animal companions, JETOUR Auto Philippines Inc (JAPI) held its first-ever “Furry Friends” Pet Day for Media on August 17, 2024 at Zig Café at the SM Aura Premier, McKinley Parkway in Taguig City.

That day, members of the media brought along their beloved pets for a series of bonding, pampering, and fun activities for both animals and their human companions.
SM Aura Premier and Zig Café provided a pet-friendly atmosphere, with Zig Café not only welcoming the pets, but also offering lots of healthy treats for both humans and their animal companions.

The “Furry Friends” Pet Day for the Media held interactive sessions, as participants engaged with professional K9 trainers who demonstrated basic training techniques, offered advice on addressing troublesome pet behavior, and provided insights into the role of K9 units in security and community service.
International Dog Day
JAPI also reiterated that the “Furry Friends” Pet Day was also in celebration of the annual International Dog Day, which is held every August 26.
Now on its 20th year, the International Dog Day was started in 2004 by pet lifestyle expert and author Colleen Paige to bring awareness to the condition of animals and to encourage adoption, with the goal of helping humans make more responsible choices in taking care of their dogs.
